SALVATION BY NUMBERS (2000)

SYNOPSIS:

This trio of friends is suffering from a general malaise and is wracked by the need for answers to profound questions about their own selves. They decide to try and escape their existential ennui by indulging in some hedonism, including but not limited to smoking "hash" and drinking malt liquor. In the process, they discover the key elements that were missing from their lives and, in regaining them, finally become whole: the rabbit rediscovers his Chinese roots and love of opium, the snail realizes he's passionate about the music of Burt Bacharach, and the Iberian gnome with a Mexican accent develops an appreciation for the low-rider automobile.

Filmed on location at Cedar House during the summer of 2000. Music by Nine Inch Nails, Bob Marley, the Beastie Boys, and Burt Bacharach, with original compositions by cast members.
